Viwawa Animator’s & Youth Leaders Orientation

The deanery pastoral members, animators & youth leaders’ workshop took place on 31st of May 2018 at Kisivani Parish. There were around 60 Lay leaders, Youth Animators & Youth Leaders. Fr. Samuel addressed them on the present situation of youth ministry at Same Diocese and the future action plan for the year 2018-19. He also asked them to share their views on youth ministry. He urged all lay leaders to start youth groups in parish and to motivate the youth to take part in youth in parish activities.

Many lay leaders expressed their anxieties for the youth of their parish, Youth responded with expressing the difficult situation at parish level the youth are facing. Having listened to them it was very clear there was no proper direction from the church leaders for the youth or no efforts are made to bring them together.
