Place: SJS Organic Farm – Center for Excellence Mwanga

On 24th of January 2020 the national team of Swiss-Aid Tanzania visited SJS Organic Farm – Center for Excellence. Swill Aid Tanzania country representative Mr. Blaise Burnier led the team. Mr. Rainard Mjumguli, Mr. Simon Njowoka and Mr. Robert were present. Farm director Rev. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza welcomed the delegates, Mr. Prashanth, farm manager & Mr. Martin, farm technical officer were present.

After the tea break delegates were taken for the farm tour, various agriculture activities were explained and demonstrated. Swill Aid team was amazed at the works taken place at SJS farm. It was a great visit and we had opportunity to learn many new activities and possibilities at SJS said Mr. Blaise. He mentioned it will be really a center for excellence, many aspects of organic farming could be learned here. They were happy to learn about rural & EM technology. Swiss Aid team promised they will be sending their national staff members for week long training at SJS. After the lunch at Mission House the delegates left to Dar Es Salaam.
